Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated in the USA on July 4th.

It is celebrated to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, according to which United States ceased to be a part of the British Empire and became a separate country.

On the Independence Day all Americans go to concerts, parades, festivals, barbecues, picnics, baseball games or family reunions. There are also political speeches and ceremonies. Usually, in the evening, there are fireworks shows which are a beautiful way to celebrate such occasion.
